Artificial intelligence was supposed to make human life easier.

It can write, translate, code, analyse information, create images, answer questions and automate countless tasks.

But a recent resignation from Anthropic has raised a much darker question:

What happens when the technology designed to help humanity becomes too powerful for humanity to control?
